ABOUT US

Who are we and what is our Operation Model?

Naretoi Women Organisation is a non governmental organization that works with 26 Maasai Women at Orkeeswa, Murandawa village Monduli Tanzania, with the beliefs and demonstrations of business ideas within the community. Naretoi strongly takes the women through training sessions and workshops in a village as well as regular meetings to kick off a journey with great awareness of education and entrepreneurial skills. Each of them will get funds to run a business venture with the guarantee of a strong business idea to ensure smooth utilizations of funds. After the period of three months they will all return the Funds to our Finance Team with the agreed amount of profits and the team will use the fund to expand the project through additional members. The extra Profits beyond the agreed Profit is going to be their benefits.

As currently the women’s group have agreed that at every end of the week ( Friday) they can meet and each woman is supposed to come with a minimum amount of one dollar. All the names will be written down with the amount that each woman brought, the collected money will be saved but also given out as a loan to the business people to increase the profit of the group. When a person takes out a loan for their business on the market days she/he will have to return the money with the agreed amount at the end of that day. Therefore the profit will be divided among the group members (women) at the end of the year aiming for the planting season, so that these group members will be able to prepare their farms as well as taking their kids to school.
